- ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> EMERGENCY SHELTER PROGRAM - SPRING STREET SHELTER <br /> (MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~~ay of <br /> ~,,~,,[,-~[,~ _~,, 2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, ail <br />muni~pal corporation of the State of California, (City), and MENTAL HEALTH <br /> <br />ASSOCIATION OF SAN MATEO COUNTY, a Califomia nonprofit corporation <br />(Contractor); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts an emergency shelter program for single <br />persons with mental disabilities who reside in the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001, and <br /> ending June 30, 2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br /> the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000.00) from its Community <br /> Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Fifteen <br /> Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br /> <br /> 8/15/01 <br /> <br /> <br />
