<br />SWC:sh 3/4/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9824 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 11 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR JEFFERSON AVENUE/ADAMS <br />STREET CHANNELIZATION PROJECT; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br />RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK: AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9771 adopted January 14, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the Jefferson <br /> <br />Avenue/Adams Street Channelization Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ambo Concrete, Inc., Union City, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award bid to said Ambo Concrete, Inc.: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Ambo Concrete, Inc. in the sum of Thirty-two <br /> <br />Thousand One Hundred Seventy and No/lOO Dollars ($32,170.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated February 26, <br /> <br />1985, for the Jefferson Avenue/Adams Street Channelization <br /> <br />Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and to execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled "Agreement, II by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Ambo Concrete, Inc., for the performance <br /> <br />of said work in accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, <br /> <br />9 (j / / '1 <br />
