<br />DCB:sh 3/5/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 823 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 11 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THREE 3/4 TON PICKUP TRUCKS <br />WITH UTILITY BODIES AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9788 adopted January 21, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of three <br /> <br />(3) 3/4 ton pickup trucks with utility bodies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, South Bay Ford Truck Sales, San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award bid to said South Bay Ford Truck <br /> <br />Sales; <br /> <br />Nm'l, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of South Bay Ford Truck Sales in the sum of <br /> <br />Forty One Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty Nine and 48/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($41,739.48), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />February 12, 1985, for three 3/4 ton pickup trucks with utility <br /> <br />bodies, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest bidder for said equipment and all other <br /> <br />bids are rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City all <br /> <br />required documents for said purchase of equipment. <br /> <br />3.
