<br />DCB:sh 2/1/85 <br /> <br />OR\G\NAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 801 <br /> <br />FEB 4 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE AN EMERGENCY ACCESS <br />EASEMENT AND TO VACATE A PORTION OF A PUBLIC STREET <br />(HELLER STREET) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION <br />9, SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS <br />INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATIONS; <br />AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED <br />VACATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency access easement and a portion of a <br /> <br />public street (Heller Street) in the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />heretofore relinquished and dedicated to the City, are no longer <br /> <br />needed to restrict emergency access and to restrict access upon <br /> <br />such street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said emergency access easement and a portion of Heller <br /> <br />Street pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 <br /> <br />(commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />an emergency access easement and a portion of Heller Street as <br /> <br />such easement and street are hereinafter described, and elects to <br /> <br />proceed with such vacations pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 <br /> <br />of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The emergency access easement and the portion of Heller <br /> <br />Street to be vacated are more particularly described in Exhibit <br /> <br />9801 <br />
