<br />SWC:sh 1/16/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 78 9-A <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 2 1 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH KAINOS HOME AND TRAINING CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Kainos <br /> <br />Home <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Training <br /> <br />Center <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing a permanent <br /> <br />residential facility to train mentally retarded adults, and <br /> <br />offices to serve as a center for the handicapped population in <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it to add to its facilities for <br /> <br />the handicapped in Redwood City during the period July 1, 1985 to <br /> <br />June 30, 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay Kainos Home and Training Center the sum of <br /> <br />Thirty-Eight Thousand and No/I00 Dollars ($38,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Kainos <br /> <br />Home and Training Center, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 1/16/86), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Kainos Home and Training Center, a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />9 789-,4 <br />
