III l", L' <br />/ / ~i \_ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 9 775 <br /> <br />JAN 14 198~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR ONE RUBBER TIRED BACKHOE <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9740 adopted November <br /> <br />26, 1984, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of one <br /> <br />rubber tired backhoe; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Case Power and Equipment, San Leandro, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award bid to said Case Power and <br /> <br />Equipment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Case Power and Equipment in the sum of <br /> <br />Thirty <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Six <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Forty <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />05/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($30,640.05), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />December 18, 1984, for one rubber tired backhoe is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bidder for said equipment and all other bids are rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City all <br /> <br />required documents for said purchase of equipment. <br /> <br />3.
