<br />DCB:sh 12/13/84 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 761 <br /> <br />DEe 1 7 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR ONE FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE 3/4 <br />TON PICKUP TRUCK AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR SAID EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9733 adopted November 5, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of one four <br /> <br />wheel drive 3/4 ton pickup truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, South Bay Ford Truck Sales, San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award bid to said South Bay Ford Truck <br /> <br />Sales; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of South Bay Ford Truck Sales in the sum of <br /> <br />Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-Nine and 51/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($11,559.51), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />December 3, 1984, for one four wheel drive 3/4 ton pickup truck, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest bidder for said equipment and all other bids are <br /> <br />rejected. <br /> <br />2.
