<br />DCB:sh 12/06/84 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />DEe 1 0 -1~84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 7 5 1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR HYDRAULIC SECTIONAL RODDING <br />MACHINE; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF PURCHASE ORDER FOR SAID EQUIPMENT; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9717 adopted October 22, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for hydraulic sectional <br /> <br />rodding machine; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Weco Industries, Inc., Benicia, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award bid to said Weco Industries, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Weco Industries, Inc. in the sum of Eighteen <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Five <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Ninety <br /> <br />Three <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />41/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($18,593.41), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />December 3, 1984, for hydraulic sectional rodder, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a <br /> <br />purchase order agreement with Weco Industries, Inc. for the <br /> <br />furnishing of the abovementioned equipment in accordance with, <br /> <br />and subj ect to, the terms and conditions of the aforementioned <br /> <br />9 7~) 1 <br />
