WHEREAS, on September 10, 2002, the Planning Commission again reviewed <br /> draft Planned Community Distdct enabling language and recommended that the City <br /> Council approve the same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 52. Planned Community Distdct will be added to the <br /> Redwood City Zoning Code as follows: <br /> <br /> Article 52. Planned Community District or P District <br /> <br />$2.1 Planned Community District Purpose <br />52.2 Planned Community District Establishment <br />52.3 Planned Community District Requirements <br />52.4 Precise Plans <br />52.5 Precise Plans Adoption or Amendment <br />52.6 Precise Plans, Subsequent Review <br />52.7 Planned Community (PC) Permits <br />52.8 Planned Community Permits, Application <br />52.9 Planned Community Permits, Planning Director Hearing <br />52.10 Planned Community Permits, Planning Director Action <br />52.11 Planned Community Permits, Planning Commission Public Hearing <br />52.12 Planned Community Permits, Planning Commission Action <br />52.13 Planned Community Permits, Failure to Act <br />52.14 Appeals <br /> <br /> 52.1 Planned Community District Purpose <br />This district is designed to provide for those uses or combination of uses, appropriately <br />requiring flexibility under controlled conditions not otherwise attainable under other <br />districts. <br /> <br />52.2 Planned Community District Establishment <br />The Planned Community District (P District) will be established for the area of any <br />Precise Plan and the P District and Precise Plan will be adopted simultaneously. <br /> <br />52.3 Planned Community District Requirements <br />(a) Area. Planned Community District Zoning will not be applied to an area that <br /> contains less than one quarter of an acre (10,890 square feet). <br />(b) Other Requlations and Restrictions. None, except as may be imposed by a Precise <br /> Plan or by other City Codes or Ordinances. <br />(c) Permitted Uses.
