<br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />DOTEN CONSULTING, Ltd. will provide the following consulting services: <br /> <br />1. Meet with designated staff members of the City of Redwood City to define specific needs for <br />training to improve the ability of staff members to write Staff Reports to the City Council. <br /> <br />2. Develop interactive training to include classroom instruction, visual aids, and handouts. <br /> <br />3. Produce a four-hour training class focused on the specifics of Staff Report writing and <br />coordination processes. <br /> <br />4. Deliver the training on days and during hours mutually agreed upon by the City of Redwood <br />City and DOTEN CONSULTING, Ltd. <br /> <br />5. Provide training to no more than 20 students per anyone training session. <br /> <br />DOTEN CONSULTING, Ltd. will provide these professional services based on flat rate fees as <br />described below: <br /> <br />Development Phase <br />Attend development and review meetings; design, develop, and produce training materials <br />$750.00 (one-time cost) <br /> <br />Delivery Phase <br />Conduct six four-hour training classes entitled "Better Staff Report Writing" <br />$900.00 (per training class) <br /> <br />Total Cost: <br />$6,150 <br /> <br />RDA Agreement under $10K <br />City Attorney Approved Version 111803 <br /> <br />4 <br />
