<br />DCB:sh 8/22/84 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 9 6 8 0 <br /> <br />AUG 2 7 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PUBLIC SERVICE <br />EASEMENT (968 PLEASANT HILL ROAD) IN ACCORDANCE WITH <br />PART 3 OR DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING <br />ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED <br />VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH <br />PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public service easement in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, heretofore dedicated over a portion of Lot 30, Block 8 of <br /> <br />Farm Hill Subdivision No.2, commonly known as 968 Pleasant Hill <br /> <br />Road, is not needed for present or prospective public service <br /> <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said public service easement pursuant to the provisions of <br /> <br />Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with ~8300) of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />a public service easement on a portion of Lot 30, Block 8 of <br /> <br />Farm Hill Subdivision No.2, commonly known as 968 Pleasant Hill <br /> <br />Road, as hereinafter described, and elects to proceed with such <br /> <br />vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 <br /> <br />(commencing with ~8300) of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The public service easement to be vacated is as <br /> <br />indicated on the plat attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> <br />9680 <br />
