<br />DCB:sh <br />DCB:sh <br /> <br />8/1/84 <br />8/6/84R <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 9 660 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AUG 6 1984 <br />OF GENERAL <br />NATIONAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT <br />SERVICES TO PURCHASE THREE VEHICLES FROM <br />CAR RENTAL <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.76 of <br /> <br />the Code of the City of Redwood City this Council has, on motion <br /> <br />duly made on the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members of <br /> <br />said Council, suspended the requirements of Article VII of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of said Code relating to the purchase of materials, <br /> <br />equipment and supplies with regard to the purchase hereinafter <br /> <br />authorized. <br /> <br />2. That this Council does hereby authorize and direct <br /> <br />the City Manager to purchase three (3) used automobiles under the <br /> <br />best terms and conditions for the Redwood City Police Department <br /> <br />and to complete all document to purchase said used automobile <br /> <br />from National Car Rental. <br /> <br />3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to sign and delivery to said Department of General <br /> <br />Services all documents required in connection with the purchase <br /> <br />authorized herein for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1':. ,"-".-l, <br />~"' ~:) ~,_.J <br />
