<br />DCB:djg-c 11/15/84 <br /> <br />9741 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />Nav 2 6 1984 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR REDWOOD SHORES SEWAGE <br />FLOWMETER AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9703 adopted October 1, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for REDWOOD SHORES SEWAGE <br /> <br />FLOWMETER; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Power-Anderson, Inc., Mountain View, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award bid to said Power-Anderson, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Power-Anderson, <br /> <br />Inc. <br /> <br />in the sum of <br /> <br />Thirty-four Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($34,000.00), computed in <br /> <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated November 13, 1984, for <br /> <br />Redwood Shores Sewage Flowmeter, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for <br /> <br />said work. <br /> <br />2. 'rhe City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement," (form dated 11/15/84) by <br /> <br />and between the City of Redwood City and Power-Anderson, Inc., <br /> <br />~~ 7 4..- · <br />~ _1 <br />
