17. Nondiscrimination Based on Disability. Contractor hereby agrees that it <br />will comply with the provisions of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as <br />amended, providing equal access and reasonable accommodations in employment <br />programs and services to persons who are disabled. <br /> <br /> 18. Interest of Public Officials. No members, officers, employees, or agents of <br />the City of Redwood City, no member of the City Council and no other public official <br />who exercises any function or responsibility with respect to this Agreement or <br />Contractor's Program during his or her tenure, or for one year thereafter, shall have any <br />interest, direct or indirect, in this contract or a related subcontract, or the proceeds <br />thereof. Contractor shall incorporate in all subcontracts hereunder a provision <br />prohibiting such interest. <br /> <br /> 19. Lobbying Prohibited. Funds provided under this Agreement shall not be <br />used by Contractor for publicity or propaganda purposes designed to support or defeat <br />legislation pending before federal, state, or local government. <br /> <br /> 20. Religious Activity Prohibited. There shall be no religious worship, <br />instruction, or proselytizing as part of, or in connection with, the performance of this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br /> The following restrictions and limitations shall apply to the services rendered by <br />Contractor in connection with the tea-ms of this A~eement: <br /> <br /> (i) Contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant <br /> for employment on the basis of religion and will not limit employment or <br /> give preference in employment to persons on the basis of religion; <br /> <br />8/~5/0~ 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
