<br />DCB:sh 10/25/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 75> 3 <br />,...,.,1 f!I <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 5 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />AGREEMENT FOR ANI~ffiL CONTROL SERVICES <br />FACILITIES WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br /> <br />EXECUTION OF <br />AND SHELTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to contract adopted under the authority of <br /> <br />Section 51301, et seq., of the Government Code of the State of <br /> <br />California and Section 5.1.2 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, the County of San Mateo is responsible for the enforcement <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City's ordinance governing the regulation, <br /> <br />licensing <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />impounding <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />animals <br /> <br />within <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />territorial limits of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the County of San <br /> <br />Mateo desire to enter into an agreement for animal control <br /> <br />services and provision of shelter facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />the County of San Mateo has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />the County to provide such services and shelter facilities for <br /> <br />Ci ty, and it lS the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement For Animal <br /> <br />Control Services and Shelter Facilities With The City of Redwood <br /> <br />City" by and between the City of Redwood City and the County of <br /> <br />San Mateo, copies of which are presently on file in the office of <br /> <br />9723 <br />
