The building at 620 Jefferson Avenue is determined to be <br /> <br />a public nuisance because such building endangers the life, <br /> <br />health, property and safety of the occupants of such building and <br /> <br />affects the neighborhood and persons in the surrounding vicinity <br /> <br />of such structure. <br /> <br />2. The specific findings supporting the determination that <br /> <br />such building is a public nuisance are as follows: <br /> <br />Redwood City Code <br />(Uniform Housing Code) <br />Violation Sections <br /> <br />A Description of Violations <br />of Redwood City Code <br /> <br />U.H.C. 1001 (e) <br /> <br />Electrical: Extension cords in <br />lieu of permanent wiring, covers <br />required on junction boxes, <br />switches, receptacles. <br /> <br />U.H.C. 1001 (h) <br /> <br />Weather Protection: Roof, <br />windows, doors, siding stucco <br />and paint, garage/living quarters <br />are unsanitary. <br /> <br />U.H.C. 1001 (g) <br /> <br />Mechanical: Heating and <br />ventilation, no heat in garage/ <br />living unit. <br /> <br />U.H.C. 1001 (b) <br /> <br />Sanitation: Hazardous and <br />unsanitary premises, cockroaches <br />observed, urine odor, wet floor, <br />urine odor under house. <br /> <br />U.H.C. 1001 (f) <br /> <br />Inadequate Plumbing: Kitchen sink <br />in Unit #2 & #3, lack of plumbing <br />vents, toilets inoperative in <br /> <br />2 <br />
