<br />P~C:sh 10/18/84 <br />pr.7( <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 9 r71 8 <br /> <br />NOV 5 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT (2429 EDITH <br />AVENUE) IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH <br />PART 3 of DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing at <br /> <br />~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br /> <br />State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City by <br /> <br />its Resolution No. 9707, adopted October 1, 1984, declared its <br /> <br />intention to vacate the hereinafter described public service <br /> <br />easement over a portion of Lot 1, Block 2 of Newell Park <br /> <br />Subdivision, commonly known as a portion of 2429 Edith Avenue; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the described <br /> <br />portion of the abovementioned easement has been published and <br /> <br />posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described public service easement is unnecessary for <br /> <br />present or prospective public purposes and hereby orders said <br /> <br />public service easement vacated as described in "Exhibit B." <br /> <br />9718 <br />
