<br />DCB:sh 10/8/84 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The proposal of INTERFIRST CONTINENTAL FINANCIAL <br /> <br /> <br />CORPORATION of Dallas, Texas, to lease, with an option to <br /> <br />purchase, that certain data processing "hardware" equipment to be <br /> <br /> <br />acquired by the City of Redwood City pursuant to the agreement <br /> <br /> <br />between said City and Madic Corporation (which agreement was <br /> <br /> <br />approved by Res. No. 9678, adopted August 27, 1984, by this <br /> <br />Council) for a term of three (3) years at an interest rate of <br /> <br /> <br />10.99 percent, payable in four installments per annum of Twenty <br /> <br />Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-Four and 47/100 Dollars <br /> <br /> <br />($20,734.47), is hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby <br /> <br />authorized to execute a lease-purchase agreement evidencing the <br /> <br /> <br />aforesaid transaction, and the City Manager, Director of Finance, <br /> <br />or other appropriate officials are hereby authorized to execute <br /> <br /> <br />such other documents as may be appropriate to perfect the <br /> <br />acquisition of said equipment through said lease-purchase <br /> <br /> <br />arrangement; provided, however, that all such documents <br /> <br />evidencing such acquisition shall be subject to the approval of <br /> <br /> <br />the City Attorney as to form. <br /> <br />2. To the extent, if at all, inconsistent herewith, the <br /> <br /> <br />provisions of that certain agreement by and between the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City and Madic Corporation (as approved pursuant to Re. <br /> <br /> <br />No. 9678 above referenced) shall be deemed amended to provide for <br /> <br /> <br />the acquisition of the data processing "hardware" equipment <br /> <br />2 <br />
