<br />DCB:sh 9/27/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9707 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 1 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PUBLIC SERVICE <br />EASEMENT (2429 EDITH AVENUE) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 <br />OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE <br />OF CALIFORNIA: SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL <br />PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED <br />VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH <br />PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public service easement in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, heretofore dedicated over a portion of Lot 1, Block 2 of <br /> <br />Newell Park Subdivision, commonly known as a portion of 2429 <br /> <br />Edith Avenue, is not needed for present or prospective public <br /> <br />service purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said public services easement pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br />of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with ~8300) of the Streets <br /> <br />and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to <br /> <br />vacate a public service easement on a portion of Lot 1, Block 2 <br /> <br />of Newell Park Subdivision, commonly known as a portion of 2429 <br /> <br />Edi th Avenue, as hereinafter described, and elects to proceed <br /> <br />wi th such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of <br /> <br />Division 9 (commencing with ~8300) of the Streets and Highways <br /> <br />Code. <br /> <br />9707 <br />
