<br />DCB:sh 9/21/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9705 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 1 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR WATER TELEMETRY SYSTEM <br />MAINTENANCE; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9674, adopted August 27, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for water telemetry system <br /> <br />maintenance in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Telstar Instruments, Inc., Concord, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said contract to Telstar Instruments, <br /> <br />Inc. ; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Telstar Instruments, Inc., in the amount of <br /> <br />Thirteen Thousand Three Hundred Twelve and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($13,312.00), more or less, for basic services and those <br /> <br />additional, overtime, and emergency hourly rates listed for such <br /> <br />respective services in Bidder's Proposal entitled "Quotation <br /> <br />Summary" for water telemetry system maintenance in accordance <br /> <br />with the contract documents therefor on file in the office of the <br /> <br />City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement ", by and between the City <br /> <br />9705 <br />
