<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 9 65 0 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE SALVATION ARMY, REDWOOD CITY CORPS <br />WHEREAS, The Salvation Army, Redwood City Corps, has been <br /> <br />O~IGI NAL <br />JUL 2 ~ 1984 <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing emergency assistance <br /> <br />to residents of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Salvation Army, A California Corporation, has <br /> <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br /> <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1984 and ending <br />June 30, 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay The Salvation Army, a California Corporation, the sum of <br /> <br />Six Thousand Five Hundred Fifty and NO/100 Dollars ($6,550.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and The Salvation Army, a <br /> <br />California Corporation, and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 6/27/84), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and The Salvation Army, a California Corporation <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br />to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />96 <br /> <br />{), <br />t:. <br />
