<br />~2!GINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N NO. 9 6 4 8 J U L 2 3 1984 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH KAINOS HOME AND TRAINING CENTER <br />WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center has been established for <br />the principal purpose of providing a permanent residential facility to <br />train mentally retarded adults, and offices to serve as a center for <br />the handicapped population in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center has requested financial <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 1984 and ending June 30, 1985; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br />desires to pay Kainos Home and Training Center the sum of Two Thousand <br />Ten and NO/l00 Dollars ($2,010.00); and <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Kainos Home and Training <br />Center, and it is th~ intention and desire of this Council to approve <br />the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 6/27/84), by and between the <br /> <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Kainos Home and Training Center, a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby author~zed and directed to <br /> <br /> <br />execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />9648 <br />
