<br />G~rGfNAL <br /> <br />JUL 2 3 1984 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH <br />FOUNDATION FOR HEARING RESEARCH INC. (PENINSULA ORAL SCHOOL FOR <br />THE DEAF) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9 b4 7 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Foundation for Hearing Research Inc. (Peninsula Oral School <br />for the Deaf) has been established for the principal purpose of providing <br /> <br />supplemental tuition in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, Foundation for Hearing Research Inc. (Peninsual Oral School <br /> <br />for the Deaf) has requested financial assistance for use by it in con- <br /> <br />ducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1984 <br /> <br />and ending June 30, 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Foundation of Hearing Research Inc. (Peninsual Oral School <br /> <br />for the Deaf) the sum of Five Thousand and NO/lOO Dollars ($5,000.00); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Foundation for Hearing <br /> <br />Research Inc. (Peninsual Oral School for the Deaf), and it is the intention <br />and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOllOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (6/26/84), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Foundation for Hearing Research Inc. (Peninsula Oral School for <br />the Deaf) a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />96.4 7 <br />
