<br />r~S:djg-c 7/10/84 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the condition of said approval requires the parties <br />to the Agreement to enter into a supplement thereto which <br />addresses the various contingencies created by the Initiative in <br />the event it should be approved by the electorate; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve and authorize <br /> <br /> <br />execution of said supplement; <br /> <br />NOW, 'I'HEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br /> <br />AS FOLLOvJS: <br /> <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement entitled "Supplement to <br /> <br />Settlement Agreement and Master Water Sales Contract" by and <br /> <br /> <br />between the City and County of San Francisco and the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City, supplementing the Agreement approved by this <br /> <br /> <br />Council pursuant to Resolution No. 9578 adopted May 14, 1984, a <br /> <br />copy of which Supplement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br /> <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City <br /> <br />Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said <br /> <br /> <br />Supplement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />transmit a certified copy of this resolution, together with <br /> <br /> <br />duplicate original counterparts of the Supplement Settlement <br /> <br /> <br />Agreement and Master Water Sales Contract approved hereby to <br /> <br />counsel for plaintiffs in that certain action entitled City of <br /> <br /> <br />Palo Alto, et al. v. City and CountY__'2~__S_aE__Francisc()2___ a <br /> <br />2 <br />
