<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9629 <br /> <br />ORlGln~l <br />JUt 9 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA CELEBRATION ASSOCIATION <br />FOR PROMOTIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Peninsula Celebration Association is an organization <br /> <br />that provides promotional services to public entities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has determined that community <br /> <br />promotion is vital to the present and future well-being of all segments <br /> <br />of the public of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to enter into an agreement with <br /> <br />the Peninsula Celebration Association by which certain promotional <br /> <br />activities will be undertaken by the Association in consideration of the <br /> <br />payment of the sum of Two Thousand and No/IOO Dollars ($2,000.00) to <br /> <br />Association; <br /> <br />NOVJ, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and the Peninsula Celebration Association, a copy of which agreement <br /> <br />is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> <br />hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the <br /> <br />City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same <br /> <br />for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />9 6') <br />.
