<br />SWC:rks 6/29/84 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />JUL 2 1984 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9614 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SALE OF SURPLUS STREET <br />SWEEPER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9570, adopted May 7, <br /> <br />1984, this Council declared surplus a 1971 Mobil Street Sweeper, <br /> <br />and authorized the sale thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were solicited and received for the purchase <br /> <br />of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, California Equipment Co., Livermore, California was <br /> <br />the highest bidder, in the amount of $5,550.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of this Council to award said bid <br /> <br />to California Equipment Co.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The bid of California Equipment Co. in the amount of <br /> <br />$5,550.00 for purchase of the City's surplus 1971 Mobil Street <br /> <br />Sweeper, is hereby approved, and the Director of Finance is <br /> <br />hereby authorized to sell said equipment to California Equipment <br /> <br />Co. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9614 <br />
