<br />SWC:djg-c 6/18/84 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 9 606 <br /> <br />JUN 1 8 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR BICYCLE BRIDGE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9556, adopted April 16, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for the Redwood Creek <br /> <br />Bicycle Bridge in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant. to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, DHL Marine, Antioch, California, is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder and i t_ is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to award said bid to said DHL Marine; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOVlS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of DHL Marine in the total amount of Two Hundred <br /> <br />Fifty-seven Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-two and No/lOO Dollars <br /> <br />($257,752.00), computed in accordance with the bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated June 5, 1984, for construction of the Redwood Creek Bicycle <br /> <br />Bridge, according to the plans and specifications prepared <br /> <br />therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />Paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />9606 <br />
