<br />DES:rks 5/11/84 <br /> <br />MAY 1 4 1984 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9579 <br /> <br />ORiGi NAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF WATER <br />SUPPLY CONTRACT WITH THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN <br />FRANCISCO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has, pursuant to resolution entitled <br /> <br />"Resolution Approving and Authorizing Execution of Settlement <br /> <br />Agreement and Master Water Sales Contract with the City and <br /> <br />County of San Francisco", adopted this date, approved, as a party <br /> <br />plaintiff, settlement of that certain action entitled City of <br /> <br /> <br />Palo Alto, et ale v. City and County of San Francisco, a <br /> <br /> <br />Municipal Corporation (United States District Court, Northern <br /> <br />District, Cal. No. 74 C 1997 RHS) and, in connection therewith, <br /> <br />approved the terms and conditions of a master water sales <br /> <br />contract providing for the sale of water by the City and County <br /> <br />of San Francisco to, among others, this City for a term of 25 <br /> <br />years, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />aforesaid <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />also <br /> <br />provides <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />individual water supply contracts shall be entered into between <br /> <br />the City and County of San Francisco and individual purveyors of <br /> <br />domestic water; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council an individual water supply contract providing for the <br /> <br />sale of domestic water to this City for resale within the service <br /> <br />area of this City, and this Council desires to approve and <br /> <br />authorize execution thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />9579 <br />
