<br />DES:rks 5/10/84 <br /> <br />future sale and purchase of water to the plaintiffs and to other <br /> <br /> <br />purveyors of domestic water wi thin the Bay Area served by the <br /> <br />City and County of San Francisco pursuant to the aforesaid Raker <br /> <br /> <br />Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an <br /> <br /> <br />agreement providing for the settlement of the aforesaid <br /> <br /> <br />litigation and setting forth the terms and conditions of a master <br /> <br /> <br />water sales contract for the future sale of water to this City, <br /> <br /> <br />the other plaintiffs in said action and to other purveyors of <br /> <br /> <br />water served by the City and County of San Francisco; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement entitled "Settlement Agreement <br /> <br /> <br />and Master Water Sales Contract Between the City and County of <br /> <br /> <br />San Francisco and Certain Suburban Purchasers in San Mateo <br /> <br /> <br />County, Santa Clara County and Alameda County", the term of which <br /> <br /> <br />is 25 years commencing July 1, 1984, and the Appendix of Exhibits <br /> <br /> <br />thereto, a copy of which agreement and appendix is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copies reference is hereby <br /> <br /> <br />made for the full particulars thereof, are hereby approved, and <br /> <br />the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br /> <br />execute a signature page thereto approved as to form by the City <br /> <br /> <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />2 <br />
