<br />DES:djg-c 4/16/84 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 9 553 <br /> <br />APR 1 6 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF SPECIAL <br />ELECTION UPON THE QUESTION OF THE ORDER OF ANNEXATION <br />OF CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DESIGNATED "ANNEXATION OF LANDS OF REDWOOD MEDICAL <br />CLINIC ET AL. TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY (4.57 AC.)", <br />AND CONFIRMING THE ORDER OF ANNEXATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9487 adopted December 5, <br /> <br />1983, this Council ordered the territory hereinafter described <br /> <br />annexed to the City of Redwood City under the designation, <br /> <br />"Annexation of Lands of Redwood Medical Clinic et ale to the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City (4.57 AC.)", subject to confirmation by the <br /> <br />voters within said territory; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution No. 9487 a special <br /> <br />election was held on April 10, 1984 on the question of annexation <br /> <br />in accordance with law, and the votes thereat were received and <br /> <br />canvassed, and the returns thereof ascertained, determined and <br /> <br />declared in all respects as required by law; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City shall, and is <br /> <br />hereby instructed, to enter this resolution on the Minutes of <br /> <br />this Council as a statement of the result of said election. <br /> <br />2. The territory proposed to be annexed under the <br /> <br />designation "Annexation of Lands of Redwood Medical Clinic et ale <br /> <br />9553 <br />
