ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR REDWOOD CITY SENIORS <br /> (PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of <br />~:~36'~(::(E.-, 1999, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and PENINSULA <br />VOLUNTEERS, INC., a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts an adult day support services for seniors who <br />are residents in the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and <br />ending June 30, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Eighteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($18,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Eighteen <br />Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($18,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and ending June 30, 2000, solely for the purposes <br />described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br />10/15/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
