0 R I G I N A L 1/12/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13271 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE AND <br /> INSTALLATION OF FIVE (5) TRUCK BODIES; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br /> <br />City Code, the City Managed' caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the purchase and installation of five (5) truck bodies to the City of Redwood <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication four bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Western Truck Fab of Hayward, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of Western Truck Fab; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Western Truck Fab, in the total amount of Forty-nine <br />Thousand One Hundred Fifty and 90/100 Dollars ($49,150.90), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal date December 9, 1997 for the sale and <br />installation of five (5) truck bodies, which bid is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for the sale and installation of said truck bodies to the City. <br /> <br />DES:djk <br /> <br /> <br />
