2. Adopt a Resolution amending the General Plan (Attachment B): <br />a. Amend the General Plan Land Use Designation of the Downtown Precise <br />Plan Area from "Mixed Uses" (Commercial and Residential), "Multi-Story <br />Structures for Office and Retail Uses," "Moderate and High Rise <br />Residential Structures," "Government," and "Office Park Oriented Uses" to <br />"Downtown Mixed Use" and "Downtown Expansion Blocks." <br />b. Add new text to the General Plan describing two new land use <br />designations, i.e., "Downtown Mixed Use" and "Downtown Mixed Use <br />Expansion Blocks" and their associated definitions. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AMENDING THE STRATEGIC GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />TO CHANGE THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATIONS OF PROPERTIES <br />LOCATED WITHIN THE REDWOOD CITY DOWNTOWN PRECISE PLAN AREA TO <br />"DOWNTOWN MIXED USE" AND "DOWNTOWN MIXED USE EXPANSION <br />BLOCKS" <br />3. Introduce an Ordinance to rezone the Downtown Precise Plan Area from <br />numerous retail and mixed use residential zoning designations to "P" (Planned <br />Community) District and make associated findings that this rezoning action is in <br />the public interest (Attachment C). <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AMENDING ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP NO. 22 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE <br />REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, TO REZONE <br />PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE REDWOOD CITY DOWNTOWN PRECISE <br />PLAN AREA, AS FURTHER DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE, FROM THE <br />EXISTING ZONING DISTRICTS TO THE PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT <br />4. Introduce an Ordinance approving the Downtown Precise Plan and selecting <br />the "Moderate Intensity Alternative" build-out standard with recommended <br />revisions.
