<br />DCB:rks 3/01/84 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />MAR 5 1984 <br /> <br />9529 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING PORTION OF PUBLIC STREET (FINGER AVENUE) <br />IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF <br />DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing at <br /> <br />S;8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br /> <br />State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City by <br /> <br />its Resolution No. 9517, adopted February 6, 1984, declared its <br /> <br />intention to vacate the hereinafter described portion of public <br /> <br />street (Finger Avenue); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the described <br /> <br />portion of Finger Avenue has been published and posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described portion of Finger Avenue is unnecessary for <br /> <br />present or prospective public purposes and hereby orders said <br /> <br />portion of Finger Avenue vacated. <br /> <br />2. The portion of Finger Avenue vacated is described on the <br /> <br />plat marked "Exhibit A", attached hereto and incorporated herein <br /> <br />by reference, entitled "Proposed Street Vacation of a Portion of <br /> <br />9529 <br />
