<br />SWC:rks - 2/13/84 <br />SWC:rks - 2/24/84R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. ~ 52 7 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />FE B 2 7 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WEED ABATEMENT BY DISKING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9516, adopted February <br /> <br />6, 1984, the City Clerk called for bids for the letting of a <br /> <br />contract for weed abatement by disking during fiscal year <br /> <br />1983-84; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution, the City Clerk called <br /> <br />for bids for the abatement of weeds by disking; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Custom Farming, Redwood City, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said contract to Custom Farming; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Custom Farming, in the total amount of Eight <br /> <br />Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-Six and 80/100 Dollars ($8,336.80), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated February 21, <br /> <br />1984, for the performance of weed abatement by disking in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, California, in accordance with the <br /> <br />specifications approved by Resolution No. <br /> <br />9516, <br /> <br />is hereby <br /> <br />accepted. <br /> <br />Any irregularities or informalities that may be <br /> <br />contained in said bid are hereby waived. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" <br /> <br />(form dated 2/22/84) <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and Custom Farming, for <br /> <br />9527 <br />
