<br />CGM!djg-c 2/8/84 <br /> <br />ORIGlrJ}{L <br />FEB 13 1984 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9520 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WEED ABATEMENT BY SPRAYING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9511, adopted January 23, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for the letting of a contract for <br /> <br />the weed abatement by spraying within fiscal year 1983-84; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution, the City Clerk called for <br /> <br />bids for the abatement of weeds by spraying; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Custom Farming, Redwood City, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to award said contract to Custom Farming; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Custom Farming, in the total amount of <br /> <br />Seven Thousand Three Hundred Sixty and No/100 Dollars ($7,360.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated February 2, 1984, <br /> <br />for the performance of weed abatement by spraying in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, California, in accordance with the specifications <br /> <br />approved by Resolution No. 9511, is hereby accepted. Any <br /> <br />irregularities or informalities that may be contained in said bid are <br /> <br />hereby waived. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> <br />into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain <br /> <br />agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 2/8/84) between the City <br /> <br />95 <br /> <br />(" <br />t. <br />J <br />
