EXHIBIT "A" <br />PAYMENT <br />Consultant shall be compensated for services rendered at the rate of $175 per hour. Mileage shall be <br />compensated at the rate of $0.50 per mile for trips authorized pursuant to the conduct of tasks under <br />the Scope of Services, described below. Consultant invoices for work performed shall be submitted <br />not more than once per month, specifying tasks performed, dates of performance, specific activity <br />conducted, and any deliverables submitted to the City. Payment for each invoice shall be made by the <br />City to the Consultant within 30 days from the date of submittal of the invoice or within 30 days of any <br />revisions of said invoice, if applicable. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall provide expertise in water recycling as needed and as instructed by the City, <br />including, but not limited to the following tasks. <br />Task 1. Provide presentations on recycled water quality, treatment technology, regulations, uses, and <br />safety of water reuse to special site supervisor training sessions organized by the City at specific <br />times, scheduled in advance and noticed at least one month prior to the date of each such session. <br />Task 2. Provide responses to specific technical questions raised regarding aspects of recycled water <br />use, as directed by the City. <br />Task 3. Consult with staff on matters regarding water recycling as needed and as requested by the <br />City. <br />Task 4.
