0 R I G I N A L 11/3/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13241 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM - <br /> REDWOOD FAMILY HOUSE <br /> <br /> (SHELTER NETWORK OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Shelter Network of San Mateo County ("Contractor") conducts <br />a transitional housing program for homeless resident families of the City of <br />Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> VVHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997, and <br />ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing <br />purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
