O R I G I N A L 11/3/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13240 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR AT-RISK YOUTH INTERVENTION PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Athletic League ("Contractor") conducts an at-risk <br />youth intervention program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the <br />"Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997, and <br />ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Eight Thousand Dollars <br />($8,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br /> NOW,THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> <br />
