0 R I G I N A L 11/3/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13237 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR FAIR HOUSING COUNSELING PROGRAM <br /> (MIDPENINSULA CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING) <br /> <br /> VVHEREAS, the Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing ("Contractor") <br />conducts a fair housing counseling program for residents of the City of <br />Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997, and <br />ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirty-six Thousand Dollars <br /> ($36,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br /> foregoing purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br /> presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br /> agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Fair Housing <br /> Counseling Program (Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing)," (form dated <br /> <br /> <br />
