0 R I G I N A L 11/3/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13233 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY MODIFICATION <br /> PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (CENTER FOR THE INDEPENDENCE <br /> OF THE DISABLED) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Center for the Independence of the Disabled ("Contractor") <br />conducts a housing accessibility modification program for residents of the City <br />of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997, and <br />ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing <br />purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br /> presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br /> agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
