" ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM - REDWOOD FAMILY HOUSE <br /> (SHELTER NETWORK OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br /> /THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~,7~l. day of <br /> ~/~'~.~_ .~, , 1998, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and SHELTER NETWORK <br /> OF SAN MATEO COUNTY, a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a transitional housing program for homeless <br /> resident families who reside in the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br /> Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending <br /> June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br /> the sum of Twenty Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($20,000.00) from its Community <br /> Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the total sum of Eighty <br /> Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($80,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br /> year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending June 30, 1999, soleley for the purposes <br /> described in paragraph 2. Said funding shall be provided from the following sources: <br /> <br /> Agmt-Shelter Network <br /> PS 98-009 <br /> 8/14/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
