6.1 C <br />Page 1 <br />REPORT <br />To Redevelopment Agency Boardl <br />From the Executive Director <br />March 26, 2007 <br />Subject <br />Acceptance of Improvement -Post Office Parking Lot Project <br />Engineering File No. 806-05 <br />Recommendation <br />Accept the Improvements for Past Office Parking Lot Project, and return the <br />performance and labor and materials bonds in the amount of $53,530.00, according to <br />City procedures. <br />Background <br />This portion of the Post Office Paseo Project was the first step in the canstruction <br />process far the Past Office site located in downtown on Jefferson Avenue. The project <br />consisted of constructing six parking stalls and related improvements. Informal bids <br />were received on this project on August 11, 2006. Two bids were received, of which JJ <br />Albanese was the low bidder. An agreement was approved by the Executive Director of <br />the Redevelopment Agency. Work commenced on October 2, 2005. <br />The contractor, JJ Albanese, has completed ali the work to the satisfaction of <br />Engineering and Construction. The contractor was required to post Faithful <br />Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of $63,530.00. <br />Fiscal Impact <br />There are no <br />complete. <br />fiscal impacts to the Agency.
