<br />SWC:djrr-c 12/12/83 <br /> <br />ORIGINt\L <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 948 9 <br /> <br />DEe 1 2 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT <br />TO AGREEMENT WITH TARGET EDUCATION AND WELFARE COUNCIL, INC. <br />TO MAKE AVAILABLE ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR SENIOR CENTER ELEVATOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9426, adopted August 22, <br /> <br />1983, this Council approved an agreement between the City and <br /> <br />Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (TEWCI) whereby the <br /> <br />City Council allocated to TEWCI funds up to a maximum amount of <br /> <br />Thirty-three Thousand Dollars ($33,000) to make up a shortfall in <br /> <br />the cost of purchase and installation of the Senior Center <br /> <br />elevator; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that an additional Two <br /> <br />Thousand Seven Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($2,715) may be needed to <br /> <br />complete the elevator project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to allocate such additional sum <br /> <br />from available Community Development Block Grant funds of the <br /> <br />City, and to authorize execution of an amendment to the aforesaid <br /> <br />agreement with TEWCI for said purpose. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Amendment to Agreement - <br /> <br />Senior Center Elevator" form dated December 12, 1983, a copy of <br /> <br />which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute <br />said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9489 <br />
