SWC:rb 12/09/83 t'\DI" H\i I\L IJldlHI'tK RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 948 8 DEe 1 2 1983 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE AREA KNOWN AS THE DOWNTOWN, BOUNDED BY EL CAMINO REAL, BREWSTER AVENUE, VETERANS BOULEVARD AND MAPLE STREET ("DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT PLAN") WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council a proposal to amend the General Plan of the City of Redwood City by the adoption of a revised and updated Downtown Development Plan for that area bounded by El Camino Real, Brewster Avenue, Veterans Boulevard and Maple Street in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, said proposed amendment in the form of the revised and updated Downtown Development Plan has been duly reviewed by the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City and forward by said Commission to this Council with the recommendation that the proposed amendment be adopted; and WHEREAS, following duly noticed public hearing, this Council desires to amend the General Plan by adoption of the revised and updated Downtown Development Plan, as recommended by the Planning Commission; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: That certain proposed amendment to the General Plan of the City of Redwood City revising and updating the Downtown Develop- ment Plan for that area of the City known as the Downtown, bounded by EI Camino Real, Brewster Avenue, Veterans Boulevard and Maple Street, which Plan is designated "Redwood City Downtown Development Plan Revision - 1983" is hereby approved. * * * 9488
