<br />SWC:djg-c <br />~ ::djg-c <br /> <br />10/14/83 <br />10/17/83R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9470 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 7 7983 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR VETERANS BOULEVARD <br />BEAUTIFICATION - PHASE 2; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br />RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9433, adopted September <br /> <br />12, 1983, the City Clerk called for bids for Veterans Boulevard <br /> <br />Beautification - Phase 2 in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Tom Therp Landscape Contractor, Inc., Dublin, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Tom Therp Landscape Contractor, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />I. The bid of Tom Therp Landscape Contractor, Inc. in the <br /> <br />sum of One Hundred Fifty-four Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-five <br /> <br />and No/100 Dollars ($154,725.00), plus additional specified work, <br />if required, performed at Seventy-four and No/IOO Dollars ($74.00) <br /> <br />per cu. yd., computed in accordance with the bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated October 10, 1983 for Veterans Boulevard Beautification _ <br /> <br />Phase 2 is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />9470 <br />
