<br />CGM:rb 10/04/83 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />N o. 9 4 6 2 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 1 7 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR PERSONAL SERVICES (UMPIRE SERVICES - ROCREATIONAL PRCX;RAMS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of ~ City conducts basketball leagues as <br /> <br />part of its recreational program for the benefit of the citizens of <br /> <br />the City of ~ City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the operation of such basketball leagues requires that <br /> <br />urrpires be selected, trained and scheduled to officiate at such <br /> <br />basketball ganes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Urrpire' s Association has represented to <br /> <br />the City that it has the personnel qualified to perfonn the afore- <br /> <br />mentioned duties and responsibilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreerrent <br /> <br />by and between the City of ~ City and the ~ City Urrpire' s <br /> <br />Association for said association to furnish City with the aforesaid <br /> <br />skills and services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreerrent and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />Na\T, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RmmD CITY, <br />AS FOI..LCWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreerrent entitled "Agreerrent for Personal <br /> <br />Services" (fonn dated 10/04/83), by and between the City of ~ <br />City and the Redwcx:x1 City Urrpire' s Association, copies of which are <br /> <br />9462 <br />
