<br />CGM:rb <br /> <br />10/7/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 9459 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 1 0 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PUBLIC SERVICE <br />EASEMENTS (VETERANS BOULEVARD) IN ACCORDANCE WITH <br />PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF <br />THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR <br />HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE <br />PROPOSED VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF <br />SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, public service easements heretofore dedicated over <br /> <br />a portion of real property in the City of Redwood City are not <br /> <br />needed for present or prospective public service purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood intends to <br /> <br />vacate said public service easements pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br />of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the <br /> <br />Streets and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to <br /> <br />vacate public service easements over a portion of real property <br /> <br />in the City of Redwood City, hereinafter described, and elects to <br /> <br />proceed with such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 <br /> <br />of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The public service easements to be vacated are as <br /> <br />indicated on the plats attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> <br />reference, entitled "Map Showing Proposed Easement Relinquishment <br /> <br />from Parcel A, Parcel Map 78-6 (42 P.M. 29 & 30) Boardwalk, <br /> <br />9459 <br />
