<br />SWC:djg-c 9/02/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9441 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />SEP 1 9 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />KENNEDY/JENKS ENGINEERS, FOR AN INFILTRATION/INFLOW <br />STUDY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires an <br /> <br />Infiltration/Inflow study for the Redwood City Sanitary Sewer <br /> <br />System; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to engage <br /> <br />Kennedy/Jenks Engineers, San Francisco, California, to perform <br /> <br />such study which shall include, but not be limited to, <br /> <br />investigation of previous infiltration/inflow conditions, field <br /> <br />observations, evaluations and a report and recommendations for <br /> <br />corrective improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kennedy/Jenks Engineers has represented to the City <br /> <br />that it is experienced and qualified to perform all of the <br /> <br />abovementioned services as further described in the proposed <br /> <br />agreement therefor; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Kennedy/Jenks Engineers, entitled "Agreement - Sanitary <br /> <br />Sewer System - Infiltration/Inflow Study", a copy of which is on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> <br />hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and <br /> <br />the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9441 <br />
