<br />SWC:djg-c 9/2/83 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />94 <br /> <br />u <br /> <br />ORIGrNAl <br /> <br />SEP I 9 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND REIMER <br />ASSOCIATES, RELATING TO AN ENGINEERING STUDY (MARINA <br />PUMP STATION) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires an engineering <br /> <br />study for Marina Sewage Pump Station and Force Main; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to engage Reimer <br /> <br />Associates, Burlingame, California, to perform such study which <br /> <br />shall include, but not be limited to, determination of flows <br /> <br />(theoretical and actual) and flow characteristics, alternative <br /> <br />solutions, recommendations and cost estimates for needed improve- <br /> <br />ments to prevent flooding of the station due to excessive inflow <br /> <br />and restricted outflow; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Reimer Associates has represented to the City that <br /> <br />it is experienced and qualified to perform all of the above- <br /> <br />mentioned services as further described in the proposed agreement <br /> <br />therefor; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Reimer Associates, entitled "Agreement - Marina Sewage <br /> <br />Pump Station and Force Main" (form dated 9/2/83) a copy of which <br /> <br />is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />944 u <br />
